I believe you did a great job with your idea. The only thing that puts me off is that there is no ground and no air. Just add a simple line to show were sky meets ground. Otherwise you did a great job drawing the body proportionally and adding just enough color to make her the spotlight in this whole drawing.
The way you drew her made it obvious that she is in between the ages of 8 and 11 years old. The eyes draw me to her but the one on the right side i think just has a tad of too much white in it.
